New Architectures
An underground cellar and a drying loft with big windows
Villa Spinosa has a new underground cellar all along the courtyard: that is the "Tunnel of Jago", a big work quite over, after two years of digging and building. The project came out from the need to enlarge the winery and connect into one big space the drying loft PalaJago and the ancient cellars underneath the 19th century villa and farmhouses, thus respecting the sorrounding landscape and making the wine production easier, more rational and safer for our staff.
The PalaJago, a recent building, is perfectly combined with the other houses in the courtyard: loft for the drying of the grapes meant for the Amarone, it turns into a large room with big windows facing the Jago cru vineyard ideal to host movies, theatre and concerts.
